Adult Tap Class

Tap dancing is fun.  It's rhythmic, smart, fresh, dynamic and percussive- like drumming with your feet.  You'll have a great time learning fundamental steps that make up the tap vocabulary and doing classic combinations like the soft shoe, grape vine, and the time step.  We will use all different types of music from American standards, jazz, funk, reggae, and pop.

 

This adult tap course is an 8-week block of classes, meeting weekly for an hour.

 

When: Mondays at 6:30pm, beginning October 28

Location: 556 Route 8 in Barrigada

ATTIRE: No formal dance apparel required EXCEPT for tap shoes.  Purchase tap shoes from Amazon.  Order your regular shoe size.  Variety of styles, any color will do.
